Steel has an overall better sound, but nylon is great for classical, which sounds awesome. Of course, that's basically all nylon would be better than steel for. 

Sportsmanship

Sportsmanship. Winning is good, competitiveness is good, but once you start sacrificing sportsmanship for those things, then something has gone wrong. 

Guns Blazing

A theme of this blog, I have made. 

In respect to sports, I follow it very closely. Give your all, never give up, even in the face of imminent defeat, all that sort of stuff. It's why I play with a completely destroyed left leg, because even if it might result in it getting worse, I'll have time after basketball season is over for it to recover and I can still play as it is. So, I do. Maybe that's stupid, but I have never been one to let an injury sideline me in basketball. Especially if I know I can still go out there. Because, to me, the thought of trying to get out of giving my all would be worse than the pain. 

I don't know. I'll probably end up living my life in pain. 

Philosophical Failure, by van Inwagen

... is what I need to write the Phil paper on. It's about how to define a criterion to judge whether or not a philosophical argument is a failure or success.

See, what I would normally do is say something about how I am categorized as a failure too. But the thing is, van Inwagen's point (I don't think I'm spelling the guy's name right) is that by his criterion, which is one that seems rational, all substantial philosophical arguments are failures. Which is to say, I'm actually not a failure. Because really, we gain nothing from it. 

That said, I can still feel like balls.
